Before being considered for employment with the Department of Correction, all applicants must successfully pass a background check and be fingerprinted. Please bring the completed background investigation questionnaire and Relatives in the System Agreement with you if you have been invited for an interview. If you are applying for a Correctional Officer position, you will need to complete the background form and mail promptly to: Department of Correction, 1299 N. Orchard, Suite 110, Boise Idaho 83706.

Effective July 1, 2005 applicants for Correctional Officer and Probation and Parole Officer positions must meet certain physical requirements.
