Administration

The Idaho Department of Correction is lead by Director Brent Reinke. Structurally, under the direction of Reinke, there are two divisions:  Operations and Management Services. 

 Kevin Kempf is the Chief of the Operations Division and oversees the following bureaus:

• Bureau of Prisons
• Bureau of Probation and Parole
• Bureau of Education, Treatment and Reentry

 Tony Meatte is the Chief of the Management Services Division and oversees the following bureaus:

• Bureau of Management Services
• Bureau of Contract Services
• Bureau of Correctional Industries

Each Bureau is comprised of several departments. 

There are two Leadership teams within IDOC. 

• The Core Leadership Team consists of Reinke, Kempf, Meatte, Education Treatment and Reentry Chief Shane Evans and Teresa Jones, Administrative Support Manager. 
• The Extended Leadership Team consists of the Deputy Chiefs and Directors of the Bureaus, in addition to the Core Leadership Team.

IDOC uses a collaborative leadership style to reach consensus on issues, striving to value and consider input from the entire agency.
