Instructors and Tutors

We have current openings in the following internship positions:

Eligiblity Criteria for all internships:

Enrollment in a post-high school academic program
At least 18 years of age
Successfully pass an IDOC Background Investigation*
Internships in POST Certified positions require the intern meet POST mimimum standards for Certification

* Felonies, Misdemeanors, Illegal Drug Use, Probation of any kind and advserse driving convictions may make you ineligible for participation in the IDOC Internship program.

To Apply for an Internship at IDOC:

Download and print the following forms: Internship Application, Intern Learning Plan and Background Investigation Questionnaire.

Submit all three completed forms to the Site Coordinator listed at the location of interest to you.
