Probation and Parole Assistant Intern

All current openings are unpaid.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-high school academic program related to the desired major for the internship with approval from an instructor to participate in an internship
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Successfully pass a background investigation
  • Basic computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel and email applications
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Work effectively as a member of a team

Desired majors: Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology



District 1 – CDA  


Schedule: Up to 20 hours per week - Negotiable

 Learning Opportunities: Data entry in various agency database programs for Probation and Parole Officers and Pre-Sentence Investigatorsto include monthly reports, urinalysis test results, and criminal history information. Complete and enter offender admissions sheets during intake.
