The Idaho Falls Community Reentry Center opened in 1996 and houses offenders classified as minimum and community custody. The facility houses up to 108 inmates.

The facility's leadership supports IDOC's mission to protect the public, our staff, and those within our custody and supervision through safety, accountability, partnerships and providing opportunities for offender change. Inmates are afforded the privilege of community-based employment, treatment programs, support groups, community service and other possibilities to promote a positive and successful return to the community.

Visiting is offered two days a week, Saturdays and Sundays.

Please note - Contraband: Idaho Code 18-2510 states that a person commits a crime by knowingly introducing or possessing contraband in a correctional facility. Contraband includes but is not limited to tobacco, cell phone(s) or telecommunication equipment, controlled/illegal substances, firearms or dangerous weapons, ammunition/explosives, and escape tools or devices. Violations are punishable by imprisonment of up to 5 years and/or fine of up to $10,000.
