The Correctional Alternative Placement Program facility opened July 1, 2010. Management Training Corporation built and operates the facility. CAPP is a program-specific facility for substance abuse and cognitive issues for up to 432 residents. CAPP provides housing to residents serving a sentence under a retained jurisdiction, parole violators, and minimum custody term residents.  

The Idaho CAPP Facility is accredited by the American Correctional Association, achieving over 99% compliance for both mandatory and non-mandatory standards in its most recent audit. CAPP is also certified under the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA).

Note: The use of tobacco products on IDOC property is not allowed, to include parking areas. No tobacco can be brought into any facility. All tobacco products must be stored in a locked vehicle.
