On October 26 - 27, 2019, SICI hosted a Halloween Carnival organized by Sgt. Michelle Juarez, Admin Assistants Brittany Crockett, and Connie Gonzalez in visiting event for residents and their children.

The event is designed to encourage family friendly celebrations in a sober and structured environment.

The volunteers did an outstanding job creating games for this event, to include: Bean Bag Toss, six pinatas, The Spider Web game, Pin the Tail on the Cat, Bowling, Plinko, Costume contest, Halloween Trivia, Minions for prizes and providing sugar cookies and juice.

With additional help from Cpl. Chris Crawford, Officer Brian Brown and several resident volunteers the event was a great success.

It was great seeing all the smiling faces on the children and seeing the inmate’s interaction with them.

We are excited to say, we had a great turn out!
