Attending a parole hearing?

IDOC logo

The Idaho Commission for Pardons and Parole has centralized the location from which the public can attend parole hearings.

Family members, victims and other interested parties can attend all hearings at the South Idaho Correctional Center’s Parole Release Center.

Do not go the facility at which the inmate is incarcerated. This applies to all IDOC facilities statewide.

The only location from which you can attend a parole commission hearing is the South Idaho Correctional Institution’s Parole Release Center.

The SICI PRC is at 13900 Pleasant Valley Road in Kuna, in the South Boise Correctional Complex.

To get there from Interstate 84:

  • Take the Orchard Street exit (Exit 52) and head south for 0.2 miles.
  • Orchard becomes West Gowen Road. After 0.5 miles, take a right on Pleasant Valley Road.
  • Travel 6 miles till you see a sign over the roadway that reads “South Boise Correctional Complex.” Turn left and go through the archway.
  • Follow the road, Darrington Way, all the way to the end. (The road curves at Barrier’s Bend)
  • Watch for signs pointing the way to the Parole Release Center, which is located on SICI’s north side.
  • Park in the lot on the north side of the Parole Release Center. Press the entry gate’s button; security staff will open it for you.
