D7 Sec. Supervisor John Everett with business owner Steve Theobald

Section Supervisor John Everett recently took on the task of finding Trauma Kits for District 7.

After finding a supplier who had a kit to meet the Officer’s needs, as well as offer a discount for ordering in bulk he set out to meet with local businessmen to see if he could gain support.

He met with business owner, Steven Theobald, and discussed the need.

Mr. Theobald was all too willing to purchase the trauma kits and donate them to the District 7 office.

He stated he is frequently looking for ways to give back to the community and feels that law enforcement agencies do so much for others he couldn’t wait to be a part of it.

He alone donated 20 complete kits, which include a tourniquet, blood clotting sponge, gauge, gloves, sling, and tape.

Mr.Theobald went on to state he is happy to resupply the District as the kits expire.

The District and community working together have given staff a much needed resource.
