Concession Services Request for Inmate Communications and Kiosk-Based Services & Technology Access

On January 27, 2014 the Idaho Department of Correction (IDOC) will be releasing a Concession Services Request (CSR) for Inmate Communications and Kiosk-Based Services & Technology Access.  Responses are due at or before 5pm MDT March 3, 2014.

The selected vendor, if any, will enter into a Concession Services Agreement with IDOC to provide services that will include: (i) upgrading IDOC's closed, dedicated Inmate network, (ii) installing, servicing, and maintaining an adequate number of housing kiosks suitable for an adult incarcerated population, and (iii) an overall technology solution platform that supports standard outbound telephonic communications for prepaid, standard collect and commissary (debit) calling methods for local, in-state, out-of-state and international calls Inmate voicemail, all as more particularly described in the CSR.  Additional kiosk-based technology, services, features, functionality, enhancements and applications, as determined by IDOC based on available offerings, are expected to be phased in over time throughout the life of the Concession Services Agreement.
