Mini-Cassia-area firefighters and law enforcement officers will face off on September 24 in their second annual Guns ‘n Hoses flag football game.

The firefighters won last year’s game by one point, so this year, law enforcement officers are looking to even the record.

The game starts at 6 p.m. at Burley High School’s Skaggs Field. The game will feature halftime entertainment. Emergency vehicles will be on display. A concession stand will offer hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, chips, baked goods and pop.

The Idaho Department of Correction’s District 5 Probation and Parole office organizes the event. Proceeds will benefit Special Olympics Idaho and Mini-Cassia-area Special Olympians.

The suggested entry fee for the event is a donation of $5 or $20 per family.
