Emmett Wilson receives Audrey Spence Award for dedicated service to IDOC

Emmett Wilson was given the life time achievement award in recognition of his contributions to both the IDOC and the Cottonwood community.  

Emmett celebrated 40 years as a state employee in 2016, most of those years spent as a teacher at NICI. 

Emmett has also made a strong contribution to his community. 

Emmett is a key player in the North Idaho Corrections Workgroup, designed to support inmate reentry, Cottonwood Library, St. Mary’s Hospital Board, Prairie School Board and played Santa forever to local senior citizens and school age children.Emmett well deserves, and has earned, the Audrey Spence Award.
