IDOC seeks offender who has absconded from parole

BOISE, February 10, 2011 - The Idaho Department of Correction is asking for information from the public that might assist in locating a parolee who has disappeared.

David Ray Davis, IDOC #36891, is classified as a high-risk fugitive. His criminal record includes convictions for rape, second-degree kidnapping and use of a firearm in the commission of a crime.

Davis is white, 37 years old (DOB: 10/06/1973) and has brown eyes and brown hair. He is 5’ 6”, weighs 126 pounds and has numerous tattoos, including a teardrop on his left cheek. 

Davis was last seen in Garden City on February 2nd. He currently has a nationwide parole commission warrant for his arrest.

Investigators say people who think they have spotted Davis should NOT attempt to detain him. Instead, they should immediately dial 911. 

People who have information that might help locate Davis should call Crimestoppers at 343-COPS. They can remain anonymous and might be eligible for a cash reward if their tip leads to Davis’ apprehension.
