Recently ICIO Special Projects wrapped up their 2020 vendor training and project officer training and are preparing for the season.

This year they are again preparing a 20-man Type 2 Firefighting Team for wildland fires. The Panhandle, St. Joe’s, Nez Perce, and Clearwater National Forests have already secured reservations in for inmate trail crews to clear miles-more of trail corridor.

North-central Idaho has had a mild winter and the grass is growing; thus, vendors are already contacting Sergeant Curtis for landscaping-type work.

ICIO Special Projects does all the big jobs at the University of Idaho’s Kibbie Dome. Already scheduled are 3 weeks of work in the Dome removing the football field, putting in the basketball court, and reinstalling the football field.
