Idaho Falls Community Reentry Center names Food Service Officer Jeremy Carroll as employee of the quarter!

Please help us congratulate Idaho Falls Community Reentry Center FSO Jeremy Carroll for being awarded our latest employee of the quarter!

Jeremy  was nominated by his peers for doing amazing work and his dedication to all aspects of facility operations and the IDOC Mission.

Jeremy consistently goes above and beyond the norm in his fundamental duties but he also helps in many other areas. As a senior member of facility, he mentors staff with solid guidance on human behavior, communicating with offenders and makes us laugh often with his wry quips and Irish humor! One of Jeremy's top qualities is his calm, cool demeanor and presence, which allows for good two-way communication with fellow staff, customers and our residents. Jeremy is committed to preparing offenders for a prosocial life beyond prison by holding them accountable and teaching them solid skills in how to navigate life, such as patience, planning and having realistic expectations. Jeremy has established a weekly river walk in downtown Idaho Falls as an incentive for residents who've exhibited the skills they've been taught. He is also our 1st line offender incentive proposal reviewer and coordinates residents for the planting, cultivating and harvesting of our community garden.

Jeremy strives for as much normality as possible in the serving of safe, tasty and nutritious meals to IFCRC residents. Even with these considerations, his plate costs are continuously among the lowest in the state. Jeremy makes himself available to helps cover shift commander duties when necessary and is active in volunteering his time for transports, medical escorts and coordinating offender special events at the facility.

Thank you Jeremy for valued and quality work at the IFCRC!"
