Idaho Falls Community Work Center Resident Back in Custody

The offender who walked away from a work site the afternoon of March 20 is back in custody.

Jesse Von Atkinson, IDOC #82108, was housed at the Idaho Falls Community Work Center, but was on a job site when he apparently walked away. He was arrested when he returned to the work center at 5:45 p.m. the same day.

Atkinson will be held in the Bonneville County jail while the incident is investigated.

Atkinson is 35 years old. He was serving sentences for burglary and driving under the influence. He was scheduled for a parole hearing in August 2014.
