IDOC hiring correctional officers

The Idaho Department of Correction is hiring correctional officers to work at its correctional facility in Orofino.

If you’re at least 21 years old and interested in a job through which you can truly make a difference, plan on attending a career fair sponsored by the department.

The IDOC is hosting two career fairs, one in Orofino and one in Lewiston.

The Orofino event will be held:

Thursday, November 13th
1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Idaho Correctional Institution Orofino
381 West Hospital Drive Orofino, Idaho

The Lewiston event will be held:

Friday, November 14th
10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
District 2, Probation and Parole Office
908 Idaho Street Lewiston, Idaho

Bring a completed background investigation questionnaire and be guided through an expedited selection process and you may walk away with a conditional offer of employment the same day.

IDOC correctional officers receive competitive benefits at a starting rate of $13.27 an hour, with an increase to $14.05 after successful completion of entrance probation.
