IDOC hiring corrections officers in northern Idaho

The Idaho Department of Correction is holding a series of job fairs at the Idaho Department of Labor local offices in northern and north central Idaho during April and May.

The fairs will be held at the following local Labor offices and community locations:.

Moscow: April 22, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., 1350 Troy Road, Suite 1

Moscow: May 14, 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Bruce M. Pitman Center, 709 Deakin Ave.

Correctional officers receive a starting rate of $13.27 an hour with competitive benefits and an increase to $14.05 after successful completion of entrance probation.

Correction personnel will conduct interviews during some of the fairs.

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and should bring a completed background investigation questionnaire, which can be found online here
