On March 22, 2018, Idaho State Correctional Center’s specialized release unit, housing 96 offenders preparing for an upcoming release back into the community from incarceration participated in a Community Partner Mini Fair.

The Community Partner Mini Fair is an event put on by ISCC CCM Staff with coordination of 6-8 specific community partners throughout the Treasure Valley. These partners present their services offered with those releasing offenders.

This is an opportunity for offenders to build a network of community prior to their release to set them up with a stronger success plan.

This event is done each month; on a quarterly basis with different community partners each time.  The next event is April 26, 2018.

We are seeking increased partners of felon friendly businesses, as well as partners that are outside of district 3 & 4.

Please contact Program Manager Kristi Skeem from ISCC if you happen to know of a community partner who would like to participate with their services. kskeem@idoc.idaho.gov
