Staff at Idaho State Correctional Center and the Nampa Community Reentry Center helped strengthen the bond between offenders and their families over the Easter weekend.

About 40 families participated in ISCC’s Easter egg hunt.

“This was our first, we provided art supplies for the bags they collected eggs in and after their art project, they conducted the hunts,” says ISCC Warden Jay Christensen.

About 25 kids were on hand for Nampa-CRC's celebration, which included 500 candy-filled plastic eggs.

“Many of the visiting children wore their Sunday best when they came to visit with their dad and see the Easter Bunny,” says Bruce Wells-Moore, the Nampa-CRC's manager.
