Lead Probation & Parole Officer Clinton Blettner, Outstanding Alumni

Lead PPO Clinton Blettner's recognition
Brandon Williams, District Manager, District 1 Probation & Parole

December 2018: Lead PO Clinton Blettner was recognized as the Outstanding Alumni for the Fall of 2018 by Rocky Lewis, Director of Lewis & Clark State College in Coeur d'Alene. Clinton received this award out of approximately 15,000 alumni in the northern Idaho and eastern Washington areas. The award is presented to alumni who dedicate their time to civic, charitable, or social causes, and show the ability to motivate and enrich the lives of others.

Clinton has been with District 1 as a Probation & Parole Officer since 2013, and was promoted to Lead PO in July, 2017. Clinton's caseload consists of offenders engaged with faith-based entities in the area, and he has built a solid reputation and rapport with that community. Clinton is a Peer Training Officer, certified instructor in LSI-R and Motivational Interviewing, and is our district's Internship Coordinator. Clinton has always been eager to take on a heavy workload, to mentor staff, and he leads by example. His strong work ethic, easy going demeanor, and compassion has allowed him to excel as his responsibilities have increased.

Clinton will be recognized for his outstanding service to our community at the Spring 2019 graduation ceremonies at Lewis & Clark State College campus in Coeur d'Alene. Clinton is certainly a valued member of the District 1 family, and I want to thank him for his continued commitment to our State
