By Brent Hunsaker, KBOI-TV

NAMPA, Idaho (CBS 2) — Keri Mendive’s life began again after prison.

Free of the addictions that had turned her previous life into chaos and pushed away her loved ones, she is starting over. Starting fresh.

No matter the weather, you’ll find Keri in the stands cheering on the Nampa High baseball team.

Her oldest son, Trent, is a senior who plays right field.

It is one of many relationships that she is patiently rebuilding.

Part of the rebuilding process is also helping others. She recently returned to prison to talk to inmates.
