Nampa Community Reentry Center Donates to Boise, Ronald McDonald House

NCRC delivers donation
Bruce Wells-Moore, Manager, Nampa Community Reentry Center

Offenders from the Nampa Community Reentry Center, Dick Phillips and Sean Andreas delivered a donation check to the Boise Ronald McDonald House.

In 2004 Phillips and his wife gave birth to their son, who was premature and weighed only 2 pounds at birth. While their son was under the care of St Luke's Hospital, Phillips and his wife were residents of the Ronald McDonald House for 3-1/2 months. They were able to take their son home on December 24th.

Today, his son is typical, healthy, 13-year-old teenager.  Phillips was one of two offenders that presented House Director Mike Krause a check that will provide a family the ability to stay at the Ronald McDonald for over 8 days.
