South Boise Women’s Correctional Center is sprouting this spring with the help of Food Service Supervisor Scott Spackman.

What was once just another section of high desert will soon become a high producing garden. This area will include several raised gardens centered around a water feature all surrounded by landscaping.

The ladies are learning valuable lessons about sustainable living while having fun!

More photos to come when finished!

Special thanks to FSO Spackman for all the hard work you put forth with this project.
