The Idaho Department of Correction is continuing its effort to inform people about the Justice Reinvestment Initiative – a measure signed into law by Goveror C.L. “Butch” Otter on March 19, 2014 that will result in sweeping changes to Idaho’s criminal justice system.

On July 24, the chief of IDOC’s Division of Probation and Parole, Terry Kirkham, the division’s deputy chief David Birch and District 6 Senior Judge Barry Wood met with judicial stakeholders at the Bannock County Courthouse.

They gave the stakeholders an update on JRI and discussed the rollout of the Idaho Response Matrix.

You can learn more about JRI here.

IDOC’s public information office is always on the lookout for good pictures of the department’s facilities and staff in action.

If you have a photo you like, email it to PIO Jeff Ray.

But please only send photos that you’re willing to take credit for and share with IDOC staff and the public.

Whenever possible, we’ll include your name in the cutline.
