Farmer holds plaque with volunteer
By Christine Reuter, Office Specialist 2, North Idaho Correctional Institution

Bill Farmer and Bette Stone pose with the award for Volunteer of the Year before displaying it in North Idaho Correctional Institution's Administration Building.

Warden Aaron Krieger and the NICI Leadership started a new tradition by not only awarding Bette Stone as Volunteer of the Year, but named it after her as the first recipient.

Bette has enjoyed her retirement from Craigmont High School by volunteering to teach English and writing skills two days a week at the NICI’s Robert Janss School.
