VINE Maintenance

Teresa Jones, PREA Coordinator, Idaho Department of Correction

Users of the Idaho VINE service received a notification today alerting them of a brief maintenance outage. Some system upgrades will take the system off line tomorrow, July 2, for about 12 hours. A second notification will alert users when the system is back online after the work is finished.

For those signed up through the Idaho Department of Correction inmate locations remain available at this link during the Tuesday maintenance.

Idaho uses VINE, Victim Information and Notification Everyday, to allow victims and others to receive automated notification on inmate moves and releases.

Below is the full text of the VINE notification sent to users today.

This is an important message from the Idaho VINE Service. On July 2nd, the Idaho VINE Service will be undergoing system upgrades. During that time, VINE will be unavailable for offender searches, registrations, and notifications. Notifications about the offender will resume as soon as upgrades have been completed. If you have questions about an offender's custody status, please call the local law enforcement agency where the offender is housed. Once upgrades have completed, you will receive notice that Idaho VINE service is back online.

Thank you
The VINE Service
