It is my pleasure to announce that Brandon Williams has been selected as the new District Manager for District 1 Probation and Parole.

Brandon started his IDOC career in 2005 as a PO in District 5.  Brandon later transitioned to the position of Fugitive Investigator in the Special Investigation Unit, and was the department’s first analyst to work in the Idaho Criminal Intelligence Center.  He later promoted to Fugitive Investigations Supervisor, before serving as an acting Section Supervisor in District 4.  Brandon comes into this position after being the Deputy District Manager in District 4 for the past 3 years.

Brandon is also a member of the Air Force Reserves in a career that has spanned more than 22 years.  He earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Boise State University, and is a graduate of the Certified Public Managers program.  Brandon is a native of Pittsburgh, and loves traveling, photography, and any outdoor adventures – especially hiking, camping, fishing, and snow skiing.  Brandon has been married to his wife, Tara, for the past 15 years and has 2 boys, Caedon (11) and Morgan (7).

Congratulations Brandon, we know you are going to do an outstanding job in your new role.  Brandon will officially begin his new duties on September 24th.
