Victim Services
Victim Services offers assistance to the victims of crimes while an individual is incarcerated.
Services include the following:
- Notification of term release or escape.
- Updated contact information is needed for notifications.
- Victims should send address updates to prisonvictimservices@idoc.idaho.gov.
- For victim services associated with prison residents, contact (208) 658-2051.
- VINELink allows automated notifications by e-mail, text or phone. Teletypewriter (TTY) is also available.
- This system sends e-mails, texts or phone notifications when residents move or are scheduled for hearings.
- Sign up by going to the VINE website, clicking on the drop down list and select IDAHO.
- NOTE: Prison residents often move between and within facilities. This is routine and not a cause for concern.
- Offender Search provides a tool to check on an individual's location or status at any time.
- The offender search is updated at 4 a.m. each morning.
- The prison locations page provides information on population types in each facility.
- Please note for the best service, Parole Hearing questions should be directed to the Commission of Pardons and Parole.
- Victims can contact the commission's victim services professional by calling (208) 334-2520, or emailing parolevictimservices@idoc.idaho.gov
