The IDOC was chosen, along with 27 other international organizations, to receive a Kolibri Hardware Grant funded by Google.org and managed by Learning Equality. Learning Equality launched Kahn Academy Lite (KA-Lite), which was implemented in IDOC education programs in 2013. Kolibri is an offline open-source platform with a library of learning resources and a wide variety of learning material.
Over the next 2 years, the funding will be used to upgrade computer lab servers and work stations at ISCC, ISCI and NICI.
