IDOC Seeks Walkaway From a Worksite in Moscow

Aug 14. -- Update: IDOC walkaway, Wayland Savage was located on Tuesday evening and is back in custody. We are grateful to our staff and local law enforcement for their assistance.

 

IDOC Seeks Walkaway From a Worksite in Moscow


Aug. 13 -- The Idaho Department of Correction is seeking an Idaho Correctional Institution Orofino resident who has walked away from his job site in the community.

Wayland Savage, IDOC #141957, was last seen at a job site in Moscow around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Savage, 34, is white, 6 feet 3 inches tall, 230 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. He was wearing a black U of I sweatshirt, blue jeans, and sneakers.

Savage’s criminal record in Idaho includes a conviction for grand theft from Canyon County and burglary from Ada County. He was to be eligible for parole on Mar. 12, 2026, and his sentence was to be discharged on Mar. 11, 2032.
