Resident Communications Update/Memo #26
Topic: Limit on Transfer of Funds, Videograms, and ViaPath Tablet Deployment Update
Limit on Transfer of Funds:
IC Solutions has made a change to the transaction process. You may now transfer $80 per transaction instead of only $150 per month. Each transaction takes approximately 24 hours to clear and only one transaction is allowed at a time. There is no longer an $80 per month or a $150 per month limit on transfers from your Trust Account.
Once you have the new ViaPath tablets, if you have questions about this change or any issues with the banking app on your tablet, please submit an electronic concern form on the tablet to “Tablet Issues”. Or you can submit a paper form to IC Solutions.
Videograms:
Same information as last week: Securus (JPay) is still working on a fix that will allow Videograms to be viewed on the JPay tablet without Wi-Fi. The solution will be deployed to Saguaro first, then to Nampa CRC, and if it works in both locations, it will be deployed to all kiosks!
Once the fix is deployed, you can download the Videograms that you would like to keep on your JPay tablet, and they will play when the JPay Wi-Fi is terminated.
Tablet Deployment Schedule:
The IC Solutions deployment teams are preparing for the work at the remaining facilities which is still expected to begin as follows:
SBWCC – Wednesday October 1
TV CRC – Wednesday October 1
IMSI – Friday October 3
SICI – Monday October 6
MVTC – Monday October 13
Everyone should have a new ViaPath tablet by Wednesday October 15th!
Reminder:
After your facility transitions to ViaPath, the JPay tablets will no longer be on Wi-Fi. However, the Kiosks will remain connected to JPay services for a while longer. We do not have an official cut-off date for JPay services yet. The date of the cut-off of JPay services will also be communicated once we know.
For issues with the new tablets, including content, Wi-Fi, and apps, please submit an electronic concern form to “Tablet Issues” on the new ViaPath tablets or send a paper concern form to IC Solutions.
If you have any other questions or worries that have not been addressed and are not about needing help with the functions on the new tablet, you can fill out a Concern Form and send it to Central Office – Contracts.
