East Boise Community Reentry Center

The East Boise Community Reentry Center opened in July 1980 as the first reentry center in Idaho. In September 1989, it became an all-female facility. A new additions were built in 2002 and 2019, increasing the facility's capacity. The facility currently houses 148 female residents who are classified as minimum custody. 

EBCRC residents are afforded the privilege of treatment programs, support groups, community service, community-based employment and other options to promote a positive and successful reentry into the community.

Please read and be familiar with the Visiting Rules for Residents and Visitors and complete the Visiting Application Adult or Visiting Application Minor Child (if applicable) before visiting the facility

EBCRC Visiting Schedule

  • Visiting schedules are subject to change based on emergency situations.
  • EBCRC has a set visiting schedule and check-in time. Visitors who are not on time, will be turned away.
  • Special visits must be approved in advance by the CRC manager or designee.

Please note: Visiting Areas are defined as the designated area in the backyard, the day room and the front porch.
