Fugitive Recovery

The Idaho Department of Correction Special Investigations Unit oversees fugitive recovery. Reintroduced in 2010, fugitive recovery unit investigators working closely with other law enforcement agencies to locate and apprehend fugitives.

Investigators prioritize those with criminal histories that include violent, aggravated and/or sexual offenses. Fugitive recovery is an important part of creating safer communities in Idaho.
