IDOC Promotes Three Staff Members to Warden
Please join us in congratulating Derrek Governor, Teresa Hill, and Luke Kormylo on their promotions to Warden with the Idaho Department of Correction.
Together, they bring decades of experience, leadership, and dedication to Idaho’s correctional system. Throughout their careers, each has demonstrated a strong commitment to public safety, mentorship, professional growth, and service to the State of Idaho.
Derrek began his career with IDOC in 2008 and has advanced through numerous leadership roles across multiple institutions, most recently serving as Deputy Warden of Security at the South Idaho Correctional Institution.
Teresa joined IDOC in 2014 as a Case Manager at North Idaho Correctional Institution and has since served in several leadership positions, including Program Manager and Deputy Warden. She brings extensive experience in treatment services and leadership and is passionate about supporting both staff and residents.
Luke brings 19 years of experience with IDOC, serving in a variety of operational and programming leadership roles throughout his career. Most recently, he served as Deputy Warden of Operations at the Idaho State Correctional Institution.
Congratulations to all three on this well-deserved achievement and the leadership they will continue to bring to the Idaho Department of Correction.
