Residents from the Nampa Community Reentry Center (NCRC) and the South Boise Women's Correctional Center (SBWCC) have teamed up to provide 1500 cloth face coverings (and counting!) to the Nampa School District for distribution to children enrolled in Nampa's elementary schools.

At SBWCC, the project has been championed by Sergeant Erein Saldana and former residents Aubre Rupnick and Anna Simplot, who trained several resident volunteers in the art of youth face cover construction before their respective release and transfer from SBWCC.

NCRC residents Ernesto Ayon and Sterling Morrison have worked with several other resident volunteers to provide face covers to youth in the community.

Both facilities are determined to continue creating face covers for local youth until their supply of materials is exhausted.

Thank you, NCRC and SBWCC residents, for your hard work during these extraordinary times!
