IDOC Seeks St. Anthony Work Camp Walkaway


9:15 p.m. UPDATE
Kevin Kuintzle was found and arrested without incident by Pocatello Police and Idaho State Police in Pocatello this evening. We would like to thank our law enforcement partners across Idaho who helped in the search and apprehension of Mr. Kuintzle. We are also appreciative of Mendocino County law enforcement agencies for their assistance.
UPDATE:
Kuintzle was last seen in Idaho Falls around noon today. He was wearing khaki pants, black coat, and white sneakers.
He should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. Anyone with information should call 911.
Dec. 6 -- The Idaho Department of Correction is searching for a St. Anthony Work Camp (SAWC) resident who walked away from the facility.
Kevin Kuintzle, IDOC #130059, was last seen at the facility around 8 p.m. Thursday.
Kuintzle, 33, is 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs about 180 pounds and has blue eyes and is bald. He was wearing blue jeans, a brown utility jacket, and white sneakers.
Kuintzle has a pending first-degree murder case in Jerome County. His criminal record includes convictions for grand theft in Ada County and operating a vehicle without owner’s consent in Canyon County.
