On Dec. 29, Ada County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a woman for allegedly trying to smuggle meth into Idaho Maximum Security Institution during visitation.

Contraband makes Idaho’s correctional facilities less safe and puts the people who live and work in them at risk.

Violations are punishable by imprisonment of up to 5 years and/or a fine of up to $10,000.
