In an effort to increase availability and improve scheduling, Idaho State Correctional Institution is changing its visitation schedule.  

Starting July 1, ISCI’s schedule will have an A side and B side. 

All units on the A side can schedule on their day and the B side can schedule on their day.

All three sessions 0830, 1100 and 1330 will be available to choose from when setting up a visiting session.

This will move scheduling availability from about six per month to about 40.

Also, this will also increase the number of visits you are eligible for per month to about 10-11 up from 6. The schedules will alternate on a 3-to-2 rotation.

Visiting is not going back to a normal schedule yet, although we hope to do so soon.

Weekends as of now are still not available.

Residents may only schedule for one time slot per day.

The units are balanced per population, so it remains fair.
