One of the two women who walked away from the South Boise Women’s Correctional Center on Sunday is back in custody.

Idaho State Police and the Ada County Sheriff’s Office captured Elida Maria Jacuinde, IDOC #141093, at 11:50 p.m. Sunday.

The other woman, Elaine Lillian Martin, IDOC #153393, remains at large. A security camera photographed her walking near Cloverdale Road and Hubbard Road at 8:30 a.m. Monday.  The Idaho Department of Correction’s Special Investigations Unit asks that people who live in the area check their security cameras for photos of her.

Martin is white, 22 years old, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 230 pounds, and has blue eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing blue scrubs.

Martin’s criminal history includes convictions in Twin Falls County for burglary, possession of a controlled substance, and damaging jail property. She was serving a retained-jurisdiction sentence and scheduled to be considered for release on probation on June 21, 2026.  Her full-term release date was Feb. 21, 2029.

Jacuinde and Martin walked away from the facility south of Boise at 7 p.m. Monday.
