VINE notifications for IDOC residents to be suspended for up to 45 days
Two services that provide information about the location and status of Idaho Department of Correction residents will be suspended on Nov. 10 as the Department transitions to a new information management system.
The Resident Lookup feature on IDOC’s website will be suspended for up to 30 days when the transition is scheduled to be completed.
Victim Information Notification Everyday (VINE) notifications for IDOC residents will be suspended for up to 45 days while the company that provides the service tests the new system. VINE will also be unavailable for IDOC registrations and searches during that time. County registrations, searches and notifications will not be affected.
If you are a registered victim of a crime for which someone is incarcerated, please make sure your contact information is up to date with IDOC. The department always notifies registered victims of escapes or critical releases via phone or email. Registered victims can email prisonvictimservices@idoc.idaho.gov to update their information. Please include the resident’s name and IDOC number.
If you have questions about a resident’s custody status, you can also call the jail or correctional facility where the resident is incarcerated.
