The Capital Construction Unit (CCU) provides planning for the lifecycle of IDOC's infrastructure assets. The unit is responsible for preparing the department's capital project requests through the Permanent Building Fund Advisory Council (PBFAC) and works with the Division of Public Works (DPW) to ensure IDOC's infrastructure needs are met. The CCU is constantly working to promote well-designed and functioning facilities for IDOC now, and in the future.
