Religious Activities Assistant

Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must be of at least junior status in a post-high school academic program and at least 18 years of age and successfully complete a background check. Must possess basic computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel and email applications. Must have good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work effectively as a team and experience with research methods including internet and print resources. Good organizational skills and the ability ask questions for clarification but work independently. Some basic knowledge of various Christian and non-Christian based religions. Must be able to work with an unbiased attitude towards all world religions.
Felonies, misdemeanors, probation of any kind in the last 12 months, illegal drug use and/or certain driving convictions may disqualify you from participation in the internship program.
Location: ISCI - Boise
Learning Opportunities: Research other state and federal religious handbooks and policies and assist in developing a religious handbook for Idaho to be used by staff and volunteers at Idaho Department of Correction.
Schedule: Minimum of 10 hours per week and/or 150 hours total
